Growth Dimensions Announces 2024 Annual Reception Celebrating 45 Years of Service

Growth Dimensions Economic Development is excited to announce and invite the public to its 2024 Annual Reception, occurring on Thursday, August 29, 2024. The event will begin at 5:00 PM at the Community Building Complex of Boone County, located at 111 W. 1st Street, Belvidere, IL 61008.

2024 marks a significant milestone, as Growth Dimensions celebrates its 45th year solely dedicated to the economic growth and success of Belvidere and Boone County, Illinois. Growth Dimensions is honored to have OSF Healthcare as this year’s Presenting Sponsor to help celebrate the sapphire anniversary.

The reception will kick off with a networking session at 5:00 PM, followed by dinner at 5:45 PM. Attendees will then enjoy a presentation from Growth Dimensions, highlighting Boone County's achievements, projects and plans for a prosperous future. The evening will culminate with a keynote address from Robert “Bob” Hess, sponsored by UWHealth. Mr. Hess will focus on Global Location Strategy, Opportunities, Risks and Successes.

Bob Hess is the Vice Chairman of Global Strategy at Newmark, where he leads a team within the Global Corporate Services platform. With over 35 years of experience, Mr. Hess is a renowned expert in corporate location strategy and site selection. He has been instrumental in over 350 assignments across North America and globally, providing strategic insights and facilitating significant business decisions for numerous high-profile clients.
