Rock Valley College (RVC) President, Mike Mastroianni expresses his excitement for new programs and future facilities for RVC.

RVC is currently building a new facility at the Chicago-Rockford International Airport to expand their Aviation Maintenance Technology program. The larger classroom facility will allow the RVC to triple the number of graduates it produces each year. The college will also expand its curriculum to include avionics, composites and nondestructive testing to support additional careers in aeronautics.

RVC also has plans to build a new health sciences center on their main campus on Mulford Rd in Rockford. With the new facility they hope to meet the growing needs of the health care industry, creating more jobs for in the Rockford region.  

Rock Valley College’s goal is to provide a successful graduate with the opportunity for a sustainable career for years to come. With new facilities and updated curriculums, RVC is taking the next step in expanding educational needs in the region.
