On Friday, January 5th, Growth Dimensions Economic Development for Belvidere and Boone County officially opened their new office, located at 982 Belvidere Road, in Belvidere. After ten years co-located in Belvidere City Hall, the community-based organization moved to a new location which promises to provide businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs direct access to resources and complete anonymity.

“We are excited to have found a location in Boone County where we can continue to provide quality services for business attraction and growth,” commented Pamela Lopez-Fettes, executive director of Growth Dimensions Economic Development. “We will continue to work closely with the City of Belvidere, Boone County and our entire community to make Boone County a great place to live, work and play.”

The open house was kicked off by a ribbon cutting ceremony, organized by the Belvidere Area Chamber of Commerce. Amy Nord, executive director of the Chamber, congratulated Growth Dimensions on their new location and wished them well as they continued to serve businesses in and around Boone County. Belvidere Mayor Clinton Morris was also on hand to offer his congratulations and continued success in business attraction, retention and growth.

As the ribbon cutting concluded, local officials, business representatives, and the general public were greeted with a light breakfast, conversations, and tours of the new office.

Lopez-Fettes commended the businesses, organizations and individuals who gave their time, talents and efforts as Growth Dimensions Economic Development moved into their new office by stating, “We want to thank our board of directors and investors for their support during our move. We are especially grateful to the City of Belvidere for allowing City Hall to be our business epicenter for the past ten years.” She continued, “Additionally, this move was made possible because of the generosity of such partners as Comcast Business, Ollmann Ernest and Martin Architects, Cord Construction, Northwest Illinois Alliance of REALTORS, Petry Design, LHC Properties and Ryan Crombie.”
