Cost: Free. This workshop is intended for mental health professionals serving youth but all are welcome.
NAMI Provider introduces mental health professionals to the unique perspectives of people with mental health conditions and their families. You’ll develop enhanced empathy for their daily challenges and recognize the importance of including them in all aspects of the treatment process. Join this FREE training series for Mental Health Providers and other professionals who work to meet youth mental health needs.
NAMI Provider is a 2-hour in-service training program taught by a team of individuals including an adult with a mental health condition, a family member of a person with a mental health condition, and a mental health professional who is also a family member or has a mental health condition themselves.

Presenters: The program will be moderated by Danielle Angileri, Executive Director, NAMI Northern Illinois. Presenters include Warren Boykin, Aaron Ayen, and Rosemary Swanson. This program is presented by NICNE in partnership with Rosecrance with funding from the Children’s Healthcare Foundation of Illinois via the Youth Mental Health System of Care Planning Group.
