Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity Leads Learning and Discussion Series on Discrimination in Housing

RAHFH invites you to their learning and discussion series on Wednesday, June 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. They will gather (virtually) for a conversation on appraisal discrimination.  

The source material for this discussion will be two Washington Post articles on the topic:

• Article 1: Home Values Soared During the Pandemic, Except for These Black Families
• Article 2: Being Black Lowers the Value of My Home: The legacy of redlining

The purpose of this learning and discussion series is to continually work on gaining a deeper understanding of systemic and structural racism so that we can better engage in the work of reversing the effects of racial discrimination in our community(ies) and field(s).
